LAMILUXplan – this is the brand name for our fiberglass reinforced composite sheets and coils, which are available in various colours, shapes and surfaces. The material is a composite, a product that is becoming more and more important to many fields of manufacturing and processing.
The production process involves saturating glass fibre mats in various resins and chemical additives in a continuous process. The mats pass through various stages at which specific parameters such as thickness, colour, glass content and curing time are defined. These parameters are decisive for the chemical and mechanical properties of the material. The results: a highly-durable, inseparable composite. Final processing stages, which follow are e.g. cutting to size, corona treatment and/or sanding.
State-of-art production technology supports consistent and reproducible quality, which is further guaranteed by persistent quality management. This includes constant process monitoring and final inspection: chemical and mechanical properties are constantly supervised in LAMILUXplan's own laboratory.
