What daylight elements are used for renovation?
Almost all LAMILUX CI systems can be used for restoration work. Your choice will depend on the specific requirements in your case.
The tried and trusted modular system by LAMILUX is ideally suited to match the requirements of contemporary industrial architecture. Light and ventilation areas can be designed for reconstruction of large areas, and implemented in the form of large-surface shed roofs with polycarbonate glazing. Our continuous rooflights – CI System continuous rooflight B and CI System continuous rooflight S – are characterized by their versatile roof integration and roof connection options, besides a number of technological innovations: excellent conditions for modifying continuous rooflight systems to match the structural demands of your renovation project.
Thanks to their modular structure, continuous rooflights are a perfect solution for a wide variety of individual building demands. Depending on the existing roofing structure, the continuous rooflight can be fitted on glue laminated girders using an adapter upstand, on steel upstands or on reinforced concrete upstands.
Renovation can be more than just "adding to the existing building" – it is often a case of completely redesigning and changing the use of the building. Architectural freedom of choice is a critical factor here.

CI System rooflight dome F80 daylight system is perfect for retrofitting. The retrofitting frame shown in red in the figure on the right is the basic element.
Individually composed from LAMILUX Fit retrofitting adapters, it gives customers the ability to fit the CI System rooflight dome F80 to existing upstands.
Our Fit retrofitting adapters can be used individually or in combination with various other adapters. Using adapters saves time and money, as it removes the need to completely replace the existing upstands.
