Smoke aprons prevent smoke gases from spreading and are an important aspect of fire prevention in combination with smoke and heat ventilation systems.
DIN 18232-2 requires smoke aprons for rooms with a floor space of more than 1,600 m² to optimize the function of smoke and heat ventilation systems.
LAMILUX smoke aprons are designed to enclose smoke and gases at temperatures of over 600° for at least 60 minutes.
LAMILUX has the right solution for any application. Customers can fit fixed or movable smoke aprons.
The advantage of a movable smoke apron is that it only deploys in case of fire – under normal circumstances the apron is rolled up and hidden. This is a perfect solution to accommodate workflows, for example, to avoid interfering with crane tracks, but without spoiling the architecture.
