CI System smoke lift F80 – versatile and economical, EN 12101-2 approved

Smoke and heat ventilation systems (SHEVS) are a critical part of any fire-protection concept today. They are prescribed as fire prevention measures. As a developer and manufacturer of these life-saving systems and their complex control technology, which is referred to in combination as a smoke and heat ventilation (SHEV) system, LAMILUX has an excellent reputation for our ability to handle projects of any size. LAMILUX SHEV systems stand for safety compliance with EN 12101-2, DIN 18232 and various VdS rules.

CI System smoke lift builds on our CI System rooflight dome F80 and CI System sandwich flaps, with suitable SHEVS control technology added.

The smoke and heat ventilation system can be opened and closed either with CO2 (80g each, plus the volume in the CO2 line) or compressed air at 6 to 8 Bar.

The optional closing system is used for simple, pneumatic closing after a functional test or inadvertent triggering via the alarm box. The benefits: no need to close domes via the roof – a time-consuming operation. This means that you can test the function of the CI System smoke lift at short intervals, and simply via the alarm box.

Spoilers help to increase the effective, aerodynamic smoke extraction surface, and thus improve the efficiency of the SHEV system considerably. Spoilers are fitted to the exterior of the rooflight dome as wind baffles.

CI System smoke lift DH - EN 12101-2 approved

This rooflight dome drive system was specially designed for use with LAMILUX rooflight domes. The drive system opens rooflight domes up to a size of 150 x 150cm to 172° in less than 60 seconds. The 24 V or 230 V rack drive in combination with a rooflight dome is designed for a lifetime of 11,000 double strokes.

Fully electric SHEV systems can be built using a combination of VdS approved controls and actuation devices by D+H.
This system can also be used for ventilation with a ventilation button, or ventilation button controlled stroke height, on the central control panel.

* Pursuant to DIN 18232 requirements, automatic actuation via smoke or heat alarms is required.

CI System smoke lift for stair wells pursuant to building code C 3.10

Many European countries have special rules for stair wells. In most cases builders are required to fit electrically controlled, mains independent, smoke evacuation systems. For this purpose LAMILUX supplies smoke and heat ventilation systems custom-built for stair wells, although they can also be fitted in any type of building.
