CI System glass architecture KWS 60

Glazing free spaces

Free forms, the dream of every architecture, become reality here. Our CI System glass architecture KWS 60 gives you the ability to implement almost every aesthetically pleasing and technically complex daylight construction for prestige building projects. And on a small or large scale.

The exacting standards material quality we set for our daylight systems are reflected in the CI System glass architecture KWS 60 by premium quality overhead glazing and fluted roof rails with stainless steel screw connectors. The system also has heat insulated eaves with foil edging and surrounding metal masking. Solar protection is provided by insulated glass with precious metal coating. The CI System glass architecture KWS 60 construction also supports hidden screw connectors and cross beams without cornices.

Of course, we designed CI System glass architecture KWS 60 to allow you to install smoke and heat ventilation systems EN 12101-2 for compliance. Of course, ventilated types with flap systems are just as easy to implement.

Our development - your benefit:

  • Virtually free shaping
  • Continuously variable angles of inclination between 2° and 70°
  • Colour coating with RAL colors for interior and exterior – und in different colour schemes
  • Smoke and heat ventilation systems to EN 12101-2
  • Glazing variants: Heat insulation glazing, glazing with a combination of solar and heat insulation, self-cleaning glass, sound-proof glass, safety class, walkable glass surfaces for cleaning and maintenance purposes compliant with GS Bau 18

Product characteristics of the CI System glass architecture KWS 60:

  • Highly rigid supporting structure of premium quality aluminium with integrated screw channel
  • Dimensionally stable and excellent rigidity of load bearing joints thanks to special locking push-in connectors
  • Secondary draining in the inner seal area – interior aluminium construction has no contact with water
  • Thermally separated rail system
  • Seals to support the thermally separated rail system
  • Stainless steel glazing support bolts and fluted cover strips with stainless steel screw connectors
  • Ventilated types with electric motor 230 V or 24 V
  • Smoke and heat ventilation systems to EN 12101-2

Smoke and heat ventilation to EN 12101-2

The smoke and heat ventilation system comprises a thermally separated flap system, and a pneumatic SHEVS triggering component; it can be fitted with a surface inclination of between 0° and 90°. The system is approved and complies with EN 12101-2 as a smoke and heat ventilation system component. Actuation occurs either via CO2 remote and/ or thermal triggering, or by means of a 24 V motorized opener.
No damage occurs in case of false alarm.

The CI-system combination flap M

A remarkable product apart

SHEV and natural ventilation for roof or façade in a variable system designed in a compact daylight element with real glazing and best-of-breed thermal insulation.
With the CI-system combination flap M LAMILUX launches an extremely compact and high-quality manufactured flap system that besides its excellent energy values already today complies with tomorrow’s European standards. After a two year introduction phase the DIN EN 14351-1 will be effected from February 2009 onwards. By this the compulsory CE-marking for roof windows, windows and exterior doors will be implemented.

Our development - your advantages:

  • rain proof ventilation technology with integrated SHEV-operation in one flap system
  • conformity with the European standard EN 12101-2 for SHEVs
  • all-purpose integrated combination frame (IKF)
  • possible integration into almost all profile-systems (roof/façade) with inclination from 0 to 90 degrees
  • large choice of glazing variants: heat insulated glazing (thermal transmittance value 1,7 to 0,6), combined solar and heat protection glazing, sound proof glass

Approved quality:

The CI-system combination flap M has passed extensive numbers of tests such as
  • resistance to wind load (class C4/B5 EN 12210)
  • resistance to driving rain (class E 1200 EN 12208)
