CI System glass architecture M
During the development of the CI System glass architecture M the driving idea was to create a daylight system that combines a compact and extremely filigree modular construction with enormous architectural scope for a wide range of applications. No matter whether you are designing a hipped or saddleback roof, or a pyramid shape, aesthetically pleasing glass architecture and standardized components are no contradiction with this daylight system.
CI System glass architecture M supports rapid planning and assembly. Supporting constructions with an extremely filigree look, with slim-line ridge and base profiles, and the lack of cross members allows for optimum light incidence.
- Modular design for rapid planning and assembly
- Filigree supporting construction thanks to slim-line ridge and base profiles and lack of cross members
- Mature, patented heat technology system with optimized isothermal characteristics: no heat bridges at the foot of the supporting structure or in the fan blades
- Flexible assembly: extremely variable and individual customization options for topping the building shell
- Large choice of glazing variants: heat insulated glazing, combined solar and heat protection glazing, sound proof glass
- Suitable for openings of between 1.00 m and 4.00 m, continuously variable lengths of 1.00 m upwards
- Inclination angle 30°
- Saddleback, hipped roof or pyramid type possible
- Can be installed on steel jambs, concrete or wooden frames, and even on upstands for smaller dimensions
- Aluminium supporting structure
- Extras: RAL colour coating of visible aluminium components, optional ventilation function, optional smoke lift to EN 12101-2
- Service: Project management, maintenance, delivery and assembly by LAMILUX

The CI-system combination flap M
SHEV and natural ventilation for roof or façade in a variable system designed in a compact daylight element with real glazing and best-of-breed thermal insulation. With the CI-system combination flap M LAMILUX launches an extremely compact and high-quality manufactured flap system that besides its excellent energy values already today complies with tomorrow’s European standards. After a two year introduction phase the DIN EN 14351-1 will be effected from February 2009 onwards. By this the compulsory CE-marking for roof windows, windows and exterior doors will be implemented.

Our development - your advantages:- rain proof ventilation technology with integrated SHEV-operation in one flap system
- conformity with the European standard EN 12101-2 for SHEVs
- all-purpose integrated combination frame (IKF)
- possible integration into almost all profile-systems (roof/façade) with inclination from 0 to 90 degrees
- large choice of glazing variants: heat insulated glazing (thermal transmittance value 1,7 to 0,6), combined solar and heat protection glazing, sound proof glass
Approved quality:
The CI-system combination flap M has passed extensive numbers of tests such as - resistance to wind load (class C4/B5 EN 12210)
- resistance to driving rain (class E 1200 EN 12208)
- heat protection (thermal transmittance Ug value 1,7 to 0,6 W/[m2K] EN 673)
- total energy admission (g from 18 to 78 percent)
- air permeability (class 4 EN 12207)
- grade of light transmission (Lt from 19 to 82 percent)
- noise control (EN ISO 140-3 up to 45 dB)
