LAMILUX BUILDING CONTROL SYSTEMS

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY IN ALL FEATURES AND PROJECTS

ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS FORM THE BASIS FOR COMPLEX SHEV AND AUTOMATION PROCEDURES IN BUILDINGS

Designed on a modular basis or as an open system, the greatest range of features in controlling smoke and heat extraction, natural ventilation and comfort features is offered.

The electrical control systems can also be linked to the central building control systems via bus connections, which can be used to integrate many additional elements and features into the control processes.

Advantages:

  • Flexible configuration of automation groups of all elements which are to be controlled
  • Simple hard and software modifications during the building life cycle

COMPACT CONTROL TECHNOLOGY FOR SMALL APPLICATIONS

We plan and install the comprehensive package based on a 24 volt electric control panel for SHEV systems:

  • Compact control panel for SHEVS
  • Fire detector and triggering units
  • Flap drives
  • Wiring

Control of comfort features are even possible for smaller electrical solutions:

  • Automation and drive of ventilation flaps
  • Control of night-time cooling

THE NEXT STEP – MODULAR CONTROL TECHNOLOGY

Electric modular control panels offer options for intelligent control of more complex SHEV and automation concepts (24 V, 48 V, 230 V and integration of sun protection):

  • Formation of defined free groupings and adding of comfort features (time-dependent ventilation and night-time cooling)
  • Subsequent re-structuring and reorganisation of groups possible at any time
  • Integration into the central building control system with feedback functions for the individual activated components (opening and operating status)
  • Separate, isolated activation for individual elements in the building envelope
  • Bus connections and central building control system connections

FULL FREEDOM WITH FREELY PROGRAMMABLE SYSTEMS

The LAMILUX SPS control unit is one of the most flexible options for SHEV control panels and building automation. This self-developed technology has already been used in many large-scale projects without any limits in functionality and flexibility.

  • Unlimited integration of safety and comfort elements
  • Suitable for electrical and/or pneumatic applications
  • Free implementation and mapping of fire matrices
  • Implementation of almost all customer-specific and tailored control solutions
  • Easy integration of additional special and comfort features, such as sun protection controls, escape door controls, disabled access door controls, time-controlled ventilation, stroke limitations, night-time cooling and door controls
  • High level of flexibility when pairing elements to the central building control system, as almost every bus protocol can be integrated
  • Convenient operation using touch panels with comprehensive control and status messages
  • Remote access function for rapid response in the event of a power cut

THE ADVANTAGES OF COMBINING TWO TYPES OF TECHNOLOGY – ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS

Electro-pneumatic systems offer significant advantages in controlling flap systems in the glass roofs of large-scale buildings. They are based on an electrical control unit which controls the compressed air system via electro-pneumatic valves and thus propels the pneumatically operated opening units.

How you benefit

  • The cross-sections of the compressed air lines are small, so there is hardly any visible piping
  • A large number of flaps enables great savings compared to an electrical solution
  • The stroke movements of the drive units are very quiet
  • High frequency of movement and activation rates are possible
  • Drive units operate with very low wear

System details

  • Electrical SHEV control system with sensor and detection units
  • Electro-pneumatic coupling and compressor units
  • Compressed air dryers and oil/water separators
  • Air pressure tanks / pipe mass storage units
  • Piping and pneumatic flap drives
