For the construction of a new townhouse complex in Hohen Neuendorf in Brandenburg, Germany, a total number of 34 LAMILUX Flat Roof Access Hatch Comfort Swing measuring 100cm x 350cm were installed. These offer residents convenient and exclusive access to the roof terrace via a straight, on-site stair. Stepless opening is effected by two hydraulic cylinders on the narrow sides up to a maximum opening angle of 84° within approx. 25 seconds. Concealed mechanics and controls in the system ensure an attractive and clean design, for which the LAMILUX Flat Roof Access Hatch Comfort Swing has already been awarded the German Design Award 2020 in the category "Special Mention". With a 5° surface inclination over the upstand, the LAMILUX Flat Roof Access Hatch Comfort Swing ensures flat drainage surface and an exclusive ambience thanks to large daylight incidence with simultaneous ventilation of the room.
