Concealed chain propulsion drives for circular glass skylight

The LAMILUX Glass Skylight F100 Circular has always been ventilated, but now it is also possible to integrate concealed drives. This provides visual and functional benefits.

LAMILUX developers spent a considerable amount of time tinkering with the design until they found a solution that made it possible to integrate a previously angular drive into the circular profile structure of the glass skylight. Successfully: The new concealed drives are currently available for circular elements with a top roof edge size of 120 and 150 centimetres. These large glass skylights now look even more stylish and of even higher quality – all without any visible ventilation drives. This makes them especially well-suited to achieving architecturally appealing views.
With this innovation, it is now also possible to ventilate rooms using circular glass skylights for the first time and do so without having to accept any visual impairments. This creates a healthy, natural building climate and an attractive design advantage in equal measure.

About the Glass Skylight F100 Circular

The circular Glass Skylight combines aesthetics, architectural appeal and outstanding energy values. It is also very flexible with regard to size: with an upstand height of 30, 50 or 70 cm and a diameter of between 60 and 180 cm, it is suitable for all types of building situations and provides concentrated, atmospheric natural light. The Glass Skylight is available with double or triple glazing and is fitted on a circular, fully heat-insulated upstand made of glass-fibre reinforced composite.
Dirt around the edges is also a thing of the past with the Glass Skylight F100. Thanks to structural glazing technology, it offers a stepless transition from the border frame to the glazing and, consequently, unobstructed drainage of rainwater.
