Architects' Darling Award for "Building Information Modeling" solutions

Silver for LAMILUX – was awarded at this year's Architects' Darling ceremony. In the category "Best BIM Data Offer", the Rehau-based family-owned company won silver for its innovative and digital solution for the construction industry.

LAMILUX convinced with its product configurator that covers all the needs of an architect. The planner can configure his individual Glass Skylight F100 in 3D, generate dimensional drawings, data sheets and tender texts and download the BIM model in various file formats. Architects benefit from the numerous possibilities offered by LAMILUX products and can be sure that the product they want is actually feasible.

BIM is changing the construction industry

Building Information Modeling is a method of handling building and component information from the initial idea to dismantling in an intelligent way. BIM is already changing the construction industry of the future significantly and LAMILUX is a pioneer in this field. "Customer benefit remains our drive. We are still a long way from reaching our digital goal. Instead, we want to go on the digital journey with our customers and develop new products together," says Carsten Ficker, civil engineer and Head of BIM at LAMILUX. About the Architects' Darling Award

The Architects' Darling was awarded for the tenth time this year in Celle, Lower Saxony, and honors the "darlings of the construction industry". In a large-scale, multimedia survey conducted by Heinze Market Research, architects and planners evaluate various products and solutions in the construction industry. A top-class team of media and communication experts and renowned representatives of international architectural firms determine the winners of the 13 jury awards.
