LAMILUX: German Design Awards for inclined Glass Skylight
Awarded for trend-setting design
With its 3° inclination and outstanding design, the LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE 3° received the next award: The German Design Award in the category "Excellent Product Design". The skylight was awarded the Special Mention here.
The inclined version of the Glass Skylight FE has one design advantage above all: A self-cleaning effect on the level surface. This is created by the structural glazing technology, in which the glazing and frame are connected without visible supports and without offset. As a result, water and dirt simply run off towards the inclined side.
The appearance of the FE 3° is also homogeneous in all other respects. The integration of drives, power supplies and cables into the skylight frame is invisible from the outside. If you look at the element from the inside of the building, no motor or cover can be seen either.
