Modern logistics facilities for efficient operations

With more than 17,000 employees worldwide, the CCC Group is one of Europe’s largest footwear and accessories retail groups. Located in Polkowice, Poland, the site houses both the company’s headquarters and an extensive logistics centre, from which a large proportion of warehousing and distribution processes are managed. Daylight distributed across large warehouse areas

To provide uniform daylight throughout the warehouse spaces, LAMILUX Continuous Rooflights with efficient light transmission were installed. They illuminate even deeper areas of the building and create bright working zones within the halls without causing the building to overheat. The consistent daylight provision creates comfortable visual conditions for daily operations and contributes to an open and welcoming atmosphere throughout the warehouse areas. In addition, LAMILUX Rooflights provide further natural daylight within the building.

Safety as an integrated feature

The daylighting solution is complemented by a total of 24 LAMILUX Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation systems. In the event of a fire, the systems support the controlled extraction of smoke and hot combustion gases from the building. Reliable smoke extraction is particularly important in large warehousing and logistics centres, helping to keep escape and rescue routes free from smoke and supporting the safety of employees. At the same time, entire warehouse areas, along with the machinery and goods they contain, are protected. The systems also facilitate firefighting operations and contribute to a high level of overall building safety.
