A modern university building for sustainable education
With the campus building at Residenzplatz in Neumarkt, Technische Hochschule Nürnberg is setting a clear example for forward-looking learning. The degree programme “Management in the Eco Industry” as well as the Competence Centre for Sustainable Food and Resource Management find ideal conditions for learning and working here.

Sustainable architecture meets daylight design
With its focus on energy efficiency and durability, the Glass Roof PR60 integrates seamlessly into the sustainable overall concept of the new building. The high-quality glazing reduces the need for artificial lighting and supports the resource-efficient building concept. The skylight not only contributes to a comfortable indoor climate but also architecturally reflects the thematic focus of the degree programme “Management in the Eco Industry.”

Space for interaction and exchange
At the centre of the new building, an open communal area beneath the glass roof invites people to pause and connect. Natural daylight creates a pleasant atmosphere and ensures comfortable brightness at any time of day. The result is a place that encourages communication while also providing calm within everyday academic life. The use of natural daylight also supports the goal of accessibility, improving orientation and safety throughout the space.

Freedom of form in perfection
The LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 impressed right from the design phase with its distinctive form. The freely configurable post-and-beam system offers almost unlimited design freedom, making it easy to create the trapezoidal shape of the glass roof. The skylight harmonises with the surrounding architecture, creates striking highlights and impresses with its subtle design strength.
