A striking Glass Roof as an architectural feature

As part of the modernisation and expansion of the site, the existing barrel roof was fitted with a LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60. The curved structure blends harmoniously into the architecture of the furniture store and shapes the spatial experience of the areas below. As an integral part of the building concept, the Glass Roof complements the open architecture and brings natural daylight into the spaces beneath.

Natural daylight for the sales areas

Positioned above the central atrium, the Glass Roof brings natural daylight deep into the building and creates a bright and open atmosphere. The generous daylight provision supports orientation across multiple levels and creates pleasant conditions for visitors. Particularly in large furniture stores, daylight enhances the sense of openness and makes the different living and furnishing worlds especially inviting for visitors.

A tailored solution for the building concept

For the implementation of the daylighting solution, the functional and energy-related requirements were defined jointly at an early stage. This ensured that the Glass Roof could be optimally aligned with both the architecture and the intended use of the building.
The LAMILUX solution integrates seamlessly into the overall building concept and combines daylight, functionality and architectural design in a coordinated solution.
