Daylight as an integral element
As an internationally operating manufacturer of frozen potato products, Agristo stands for modern production and working environments. As part of a site expansion, targeted investment was made in architecture that combines openness, efficiency and well-being. At the heart of the concept is an atrium that serves as a connecting space for employees. Natural light plays a crucial role in creating a bright and pleasant working environment.

Comfort and energy efficiency in balance
A total of 36 LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE 3° units are used, integrated both architecturally and functionally into the roof surface. Measuring 2 x 2 metres each, the square skylights ensure even illumination of the atrium, creating a bright and pleasant atmosphere.
The integrated solar control glazing provides effective heat protection and supports a balanced indoor climate – even with intensive use and high levels of solar radiation. This not only reduces energy consumption but also noticeably improves comfort for employees.

Well-designed details for everyday use
The slight 3-degree pitch of the skylights ensures reliable water drainage. This keeps the glass surfaces cleaner for longer and reduces maintenance requirements.
At the same time, aluminum frames and brushed decorative trims create a high-quality appearance that underlines the building’s clear architectural design. The symmetrical arrangement of the skylights creates the effect of a glass roof, offering an open view of the sky at all times while providing valuable daylight.

Efficient implementation, sustainable solution
The prefabricated skylights from LAMILUX enable quick and straightforward installation. In combination with the thermally insulated upstand, this results in a durable, energy-efficient solution that can be seamlessly integrated into the roof system.
The project demonstrates how functional requirements, cost-effectiveness and architectural ambition can be successfully combined.
