Architecture with a clear design language
In the Copenhagen district of Frederiksberg, the Ernst & Young office building combines modern architecture with a clear, minimalist design. Three circular LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE units have been integrated into the roof, providing natural light while also creating a striking architectural statement. With a diameter of two metres each, they create bright communal areas and emphasise the building’s high-quality design.

Daylight for calm and well-being
Natural light creates a pleasant atmosphere – especially in areas designed for breaks and relaxation. The circular skylights from LAMILUX bring uniform daylight into the interior spaces, creating a calm and open spatial effect. This creates places of retreat within the working environment that improve employee well-being.

Design meets function
The design of the skylights has been carefully aligned with the architecture. A black exterior finish (RAL 9005) contrasts with a light interior appearance (RAL 9010). This contrast integrates harmoniously into the overall design and enhances the visual impact of the circular elements. At the same time, integrated acoustic insulation and thermal insulation ensure a comfortable indoor climate – both acoustically and thermally.

Secure integration into the roof system
The circular skylights are mounted on 70-centimetre-high, thermally insulated upstands made of robust glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). This enables secure and durable integration into the roof system while providing sufficient space for insulation and green roof applications. This creates future-proof flat roofs – delivering more daylight, sustainability and user comfort.
