Church Road Bath residence –
light that redefines living spaces

Daylight for greater openness and residential comfort

When light becomes a design element: in historic Bath, a modern home has been created that harmoniously connects interior and exterior spaces. Skylights from LAMILUX bring brightness into key areas and support a sustainable and comfortable living concept.

Architecture in harmony with light and space

The extension of the residence focused on a well-considered daylight concept and a strong connection to the outdoor environment. At the same time, energy efficiency and construction quality were key priorities in the planning process. Two triple-glazed LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE units were integrated into the roof, ensuring optimal illumination of the central living areas.

Daylight for central living areas

In the kitchen and dining area, a LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE 3° with a surface area of around two square metres provides generous daylight intake. The prefabricated design with concealed drive and integrated shading allows for convenient control of light and solar gain. In the entrance area, an additional fixed-glazed unit complements the daylight concept and creates a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Energy efficiency and comfort combined

Thanks to high-quality triple glazing, heat loss is significantly reduced and stable indoor temperatures are maintained. The systems also meet the requirements of airtight timber frame construction, contributing to the overall energy efficiency of the building.
